Raw milk contains bacteria, some of which can be very harmful to your body. There are some who believe you can garner some beneficial bacteria from drinking raw milk. It is quite the opposite. Some of those bacteria can make you very sick.
Milk that you purchase at the grocery store has been pasteurized. Milk that has undergone pasteurization is rid of bacteria which cause disease.
